Eyes on Main

Eyes on Main was originally started as an optometry practice by Dr. Erick Vesterback, in 2009, to fill a need for eye examination services that were in short supply in the City of North Bay. His philosophy involved providing thorough eye examinations utilizing modern instrumentation in a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. In 2010, Raymond Ladouceur, Optician – who also owned the local Zellers Vision Centre franchise, began providing eyeglass frame and lens dispensing services at Eyes on Main. In May of 2011, with the impending closure of Zellers looming, Ray moved his opticianry practice entirely to Eyes on Main. At Eyes On Main, we strive: – to provide the highest level of clarity of vision and eye health, by using up-to-date examination techniques, modern equipment, and quality frame-, lens- and contact lens materials. – to make these services easily accessible, by making sure appointments are available on short notice for those with urgent needs, keeping our services and products affordable, and having free parking within steps of our office. – to provide these services in a comfortable pleasant atmosphere, with friendly staff and minimal time spent waiting for your appointment.
