The Rendezvous Café is rooted in the rich history of Ferguson Street, where North Bay’s 1st hotel was built in 1886 by John Ferguson, founder of the city. His vision laid the foundation for community, hospitality, and a place of rest for railway workers and travelers alike. Today, The Rendezvous Café continues that tradition as both a meeting place and a haven of rest. Just as the community once paused here for comfort, we offer the same spirit of welcome through our menu of hearty bowls of homemade soup, fresh sandwiches, crafted drinks, comforting cappuccinos, and weekend features such as eggs benedict. Every dish and every cup reflects our commitment to warmth, flavor, and connection. Beginning in January, The Rendezvous will also host a monthly evening crafted for romance and connection. **Think charcuterie and tapas, crafted drinks and a speed dating type concept**With two exclusive sittings at 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM, RSVP only, this special night will offer the people of North Bay a new way to meet that is unique and memorable.
