The Canadian Mental Health Association, North Bay and District is a leading provider of community-based peer support services including: · Access to peer support specialists, who have lived through similar experiences and are trained to support others · Various support groups (e.g., depression/anxiety) · Educational programming (seminars about mental illness, specialized self-help support groups) · Life skills (social skills, budgeting, nutrition, hygiene, gardening, laundry etc.) · Knowledge/resource sharing (e.g., community referrals) CMHA North Bay and District’s Peer Support Services offers clients in-person and virtual programming options.
