“What I always liked about Prince was his work ethic. You rarely saw him in the celeb press, he would choose to stay home and work. When he did decide to venture out, he’d always end up on a stage sitting in with a local band. That kind of laser focus has never before been matched.
Purple Rain is one of the greatest albums ever made and Chris Rouse knows this and is keen to keep the band on point and working hard to get to note for note perfection. He’s got a unique internal understanding of Prince and it comes across on stage. He commands the room.
When we walk onto the stage for this recital, we’ll be accompanies with legacy of one of the world’s greatest artists. Picasso- Hendrix- Shakespeare- Prince.”
