A haunted journalist uncovers a cover-up tied to ghostly apparitions and a century-old lie that won’t stay in the ground.

In a winter-bound northern town, a string of disappearances fractures the quiet and drags journalist Sarah Beckett into a story she can’t shake - and visions she can’t explain. When Sam, a retired rail worker, brings Sarah a troubling lead, she turns to Max, an exacting historian leading a local rail revitalization project.

As Sarah digs, the past pushes back. Apparitions flicker. Footage glitches. Records don’t match memory. Is she chasing a lead - or being led? With the town’s legacy at stake and a modern scheme converging, Sarah’s investigation blurs the line between truth and myth. To free the living, she’ll have to reckon with the dead.

A mix of crime, psychological dread, and the supernatural, Phantom Line follows the truth into what won’t be laid to rest.
