Acclaimed violinist and Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Thomas Cosbey joins the NBSO in Bruch's richly dramatic Violin Concerto no .1. Three vastly different but equally spectacular prelude-themed works round out this concert: Dukas' Fanfare pour précéder la Péri , Wagner's Prelude to Die Meistersinger and Liszt's Les Preludes.
