Ice Follies Biennial 2025: OZHAASHIKWAA (THE ICE IS SLIPPERY)

until Friday February 21 11:55 PM @ Shabogesic Beach, Lake Nipissing
Experience art in the heart of Northern Ontario’s winter! Ice Follies Biennial returns to the frozen expanse of Lake Nipissing for its 11th edition, bringing large-scale art installations, performances, and community-focused projects to the North Bay Waterfront.
This Year’s Theme: OZHAASHIKWAA (THE ICE IS SLIPPERY)

There is slippery ice; extra care and consideration is needed. Travelling and moving forward is difficult; the conditions are unsteady. The terrain ahead demands resilience and adaptability as the path forward remains uncertain. This theme reflects the challenges of navigating uncertain conditions, celebrating resilience, adaptability, and creativity.
