Wednesday, October 16th at 7:30pm, join us at the Capitol Centre for a one-night-only screening of THELMA, the action-comedy directorial debut of Josh Margolin, starring veteran Oscar nominee June Squibb (NEBRASKA) in her first leading role!
When 93-year-old Thelma Post (June Squibb) gets scammed by someone pretending to be her grandson, she refuses to be just another victim. Tenacious and determined, Thelma embarks on a wild adventure across the city, teaming up with a friend and his motorized scooter to reclaim what was taken from her.
Inspired by a real-life experience of Margolin’s grandmother, THELMA is a heartwarming, action-packed comedy that flips the script on aging with humor, grit, and determination. Don’t miss June Squibb in a role that showcases her as an unlikely but unforgettable action hero.
