The Hometown Screening series includes a variety of free, public screenings, funded by the City of North Bay’s Event Hosting Fund. Each presentation (film or tv episode) was filmed/produced in or around North Bay and is a celebration of our area's local talent, with some of North Bay's prominent locations featured on the big screen!
Screening Block #1 ~ 23 mins
- People Watching - an episode from Season 3 - coproduced with Cutting Class, Lakeside Animation and Lapaire Productions, currently released on both OutTV and Part Time Cult (approx 10 mins)
- The Dollop: The Animated Series - the pilot segment from episode 1 "The Rube", currently released on Part Time Cult (5 minutes)
- Teaser for "Ivan" - based on an original graphic novel, animated with AI tools (2 minutes)
- Demo for "Not Safe For Work" - animated pitch demo, which eventually led to the NOHFC funding the series production that we have in pre-production now (co-produced b/w Cutting Class and Lakeside Animation) (3 mins)
- Demo for "Rusty" - animated pitch demo, which eventually led to the NOHFC funding the series production that we have in pre-production now (co-produced with Sony, Cutting Class and Lakeside Animation) (3 mins)
Panel Discussion ~ 15-20 mins
Screening Block #2 ~ 25 minutes
- The first act "sneak peek" of the feature film "Matters Beyond" - we just recently wrapped and its currently in post-production. Co-produced between Cutting Class, Lakeside Animation, and Titmouse Animation.
